Install Virtualenv

When creating Python applications on your computer, you may want to use different versions of software than those already installed on the base system. For example, in a previous step Python 2.7.x was installed. What if you want to test an app with an earlier or later version of Python? Or what if you wan to test your application on a new version of Django? Enter Virtualenv, which is a utility that lets you create isolated Python environments. All development in this course will be done in an isolated Python environment using Virtualenv. Here are the steps to set it up.
